From Living Room to Creative Studio
What started as painting my living room into an art piece slowly evolved into something more.
I began styling my own space using second-hand finds, collected objects, layered textures, artwork and restored furniture, turning everyday living into a creative expression. Before long, my living room became a working studio. A place where pieces were sourced, restored, styled, photographed and reimagined into curated spaces with personality and purpose.
That creative process eventually became The Living RM Studio.
The name reflects the original space where it all began. A living room transformed into an evolving creative studio. What was once simply a home became somewhere ideas were tested, furniture was given new life and rooms were continually reshaped with intention and creativity.
Today, the studio has found a new home in Armstrong Creek, Victoria, but the philosophy remains unchanged.
The Living RM Studio continues to redefine what a "living room" can be. An evolving environment that adapts, transforms and finds new purpose over time. A space that is lived in, worked in, created in and continuously reimagined.
That same philosophy flows through every aspect of the studio's work. Working with existing pieces, existing homes and existing spaces to uncover new potential rather than always starting from scratch.
Operating primarily as an online destination with local delivery. The studio specialises in thoughtfully curated second-hand furniture, vintage finds, artwork, homewares and collected objects that bring warmth, character and individuality into a home. For those wanting to experience a piece before purchasing, private viewings are available by appointment from the Armstrong Creek studio.
Every piece is chosen with intention, celebrating craftsmanship and character while helping keep beautiful furniture in circulation and out of landfill.

As the studio evolves, it is committed to pursuing Certified B Corporation status, embedding social and environmental responsibility into the foundations of the business. Long-term aspirations also include partnering with organisations supporting women rebuilding their lives after domestic and family violence, helping transform empty houses into homes through thoughtfully curated furniture, home packages and community partnerships.
